Being seventeen is tough at the best of times.
Hormones. Exams. More hormones. Friends. Parties. The future.
That’s enough for most people to feel overwhelmed, let alone caring for your sick mum on top of that.

Thea is in her last year of high school and has been caring for her mum for four years now, not that anyone would know. She’s intent on keeping that part of her life a secret.

But as exams gets closer and the chance at a university athletics scholarship becomes a possibility, Thea’s life starts to become harder to manage and the tough reality of a carer is exposed.
