Three birds theatre

Three Birds Theatre is an independent theatre company established in 2015 by Madelaine Nunn, Candace Miles, and Anna Rodway (graduates of the VCA). TBT strives to make visually striking, bold pieces of work that showcase the multi-talents of a female-driven ensemble. They are devoted to making new work that gives agency to the female voice, using comedy and theatricality to express and celebrate what it means to be a woman. They are passionate about creating female characters that are three-dimensional, well-drawn and compelling. Three Birds Theatre has swiftly gained recognition in the independent theatre industry as innovators of sharp, comedy-driven theatre, with their original works receiving critical acclaim. Their original work Three Birds One Cock most recently received a nomination for Best Ensemble at the Green Room Awards Association for 2016.
